Herb Garden Tour
The Herb Garden is in the southern portion of the Linnaeus Garden, just to the east of the Learning Center and south of the Vegetable Garden.
The Garden features three raised planting beds with different themes: scented herbs, culinary herbs, and tea-making herbs.
In the center is a special feature of the garden: a porous boulder planted with Moss Roses, Lamb's Ear, various Sedums and Golden Lantana.
A visitor's touch releases the rich scents of lavender, lemon basil and other aromatic herbs of the north bed.
Many of the herbs in this garden were selected, donated and planted by the Tulsa Herb Society.
The Garden is more than just a place to visit. Part of our mission is to share our knowledge with the public.
The Herb Garden was the site of our first Linnaeus Teaching Garden Seminar. Linnaeus Garden volunteers teamed up with members of the Tulsa Herb Society to teach gardeners how to grow, harvest and preserve culinary and medicinal herbs.
