Grand Opening guests look over the Fountain Garden in 2006. Plantings have matured and grown a great deal since then. This photo also shows the original yaupon hollies which were replaced by Coral Bark Japanese Red Maples when one of the yaupons died.

Lobelia siphilitica, Blue Cardinalflower, is reputed to love cool moist shady growing conditions, but you would never know it from this plant’s performance in our summer heat and sun.
