Boulder Garden and Greenhouse Tour
The Boulder Garden extends from the Linnaeus statue south to the Learning Center and includes the entire width of the Garden between those two points.
The Boulder Garden completely encloses the Water Garden, including three waterfall areas.
The terrain slopes downward and toward the Greenhouse located on the west side of the Garden. In addition to the plant material and water features, visual interest is added by numerous large boulders donated by Hardscape Materials.
There are over 280 tons of "Natural Hardscape" materials in the garden.
The irrigation system for the Garden was provided by Reid Irrigation.
The Linnaeus Garden contains over 4,000 individual trees, shrubs and flowers.
All of the plants were donated. The wholesale and retail nurseries listed in our Industry Supporters section contributed both their plants and their expertise to the creation of the Gardens.
